The way I tell stories.

I’ve got a problem. Actually, I’m not sure if it is a real problem because on the ideal World it wouldn’t be one, but on the real world it is.

When I tell stories I like to reference and I do it not because I want to have more content to show putting myself as the only intellectual inside the room because in fact I am not. I do reference because there is a need to inform everyone the real perspective of everything I’m talking about.

I believe that movements are built based on actions that create experiences with distinct point of views to each one that claims for mutual respect and to me that is democracy.

I really believe that to have a based opinion we got to get the knowledge of every circumstance from where that opinion is based on because an opinion based without those related events is no such different than waste of time to both sides, the side of the teller and the side of the listener.

Today here at the office they called me “Forrest” and that wasn’t the first time it happened. OK guys I agree… I know when I start something I do talk a lot and most of the times it makes me a wordy man, but to listen something so strange from nice people sounds a lot of waste when trying to make a real conversation with them.

You know… I am one of those that are thirsty for knowledge based on experiences, even when those come from others. I love to listen and I learn so much with it.

I tried to explain why I give so much attention to references replying my new nickname when Ana commented about the Coldplay’s tour around the south east. She mentioned “Viva la Vida” and of course I couldn’t let the reference fade away without mentioning the band’s attitude with this record plus Frida Kahlo, Eugene Delacroix, the modernism and the French Revolution.

She replied with ironic eyes laughing on my face saying that the topic was so freaking important to her life that from that moment on she could not breath without thinking about it because it brought such an impact.

Well, I get really concerned when I hear ironic jokes like that. I also get worried with the future of the so called humanity due to this kind of behavior.

Instead of laughing she could discuss or just ignore it. I know for sure if we kept on talking we would have brand new experiences waiting for us, both sides would learn so much from it, but that is not what happened… sadly.

Leaders are elected among us and if there are so many blind and culturally empty leaders, how can they content lead their voters to the evolution?

Let me tell ya: - They just can’t and the chaos is our nearly future.

Once I read that only in the chaos human-beings can experience the human thing… Did I just get it?

Human nature, does a real human feel it? Mmm, that is something I started thinking about, but I hope I won’t come back here to vomit what it is on my mind now.

To be on the road.

To be on the road everyday is like to see people’s life passing by and never realizing how fast it is because we’re the ones wearing blindfolded ear buds running through it. I don’t think we actually see the people, not even their shadows, and the picture we see, I believe we believe it isn’t part of us because in a blink of an eye they are all gone, just like that. It is crazy, we all know it is, but we know it is there, it is real, and if we are able to see it then it belongs to us too. Why not live it, experience it?

Today we faced a hell of a traffic when we arrived down here. I woke up and saw that everything was frozen, I mean the cars, the busses and the whole lane, except those on the other side, ah.. they were able to run their lives as usual, but we couldn’t, the traffic was stuck and we’re not movin’ anywhere, that is why we were just hanging in there as lazy tired turtles. We could not act anything else.

Suddenly I was able to see the definition of the green that I see twice a day everyday and you know… I saw trees and bushes and soda cans and crabs suspended by fish-hooks along the way and when we walked a bit after, saw a finger of the ocean touching the mud. There were fishermen and small cheap boats and the mountain above the factory chimneys. It was beautiful!

I did not look up to the sky to see the rainy clouds up there, I did not try to look up and see the sun, I was amazed with what I’ve already got, but then we, the strangers, started talking about the traffic and a new buddy with a telephone/radio said there were floods at the entrance of the city and we all smiled.

Precocious people.

There is just one think I can’t understand and that thing is why people judge others based on their own stupid experiences and most of the times they don’t have any to be based on.

It’s like to be driving on the highway without even paying attention to the cars around… Sometime it will gonna crash and with that velocity of stupidity, mmm that would be a hell of a scene.
